Put a log on the fire (or a fireplace video on your phone) and pour yourself a glass of Gran Bino. This Imperial Stout was aged for one year in freshly emptied Cab Franc wine barrels, then for another 6 weeks on roughly 600 pounds of real Montmorency sour cherries from Niagara (2xCherry Bs worth of cherries, for scale).
Born to be savored, Gran Bino has deep, complex layers of cherry flavour. Expect notes of fresh & juicy cherry, sun-dried cherry, tart cherry pie, cherry wine, double-dipped dark chocolate cherry, mocha cherry, and triple cherry cheesecake with milk chocolate shavings on top.
Yes, this is a bigger (9% abv) stout for us, but it has beautiful chocolatey richness and warmth perfectly suited to this freezin’ season. Designed to be enjoyed fresh and with friends.
