Join Dena for a one-hour performance designed to provide listeners with a live stories, comedy, and wellness tips that you can take home with you. She will draw on her personal experiences overcoming challenges with grief, separation and isolation in a way that is both relatable and, (yes,) laughable. This performance is one of a kind as it draws from the worlds of public speaking, storytelling and comedy while promoting mindful movement, inner observation, and connection with the people you’re sitting next to.

 

Please note, all tickets will be for general seating in the venue. There will be a handful tickets at the door available for standing room only! 

About the artist

Dena Jackson is a TEDx Speaker, Comedian and Certified Mindfulness Instructor based in Toronto. As a speaker, Dena uses a comedic approach in her talks to help educate others on the benefits of yoga and mindfulness practices to improve our well-being. She also loves storytelling and making her audiences laugh at numerous comedy festivals across Canada and the US including the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Just for Laughs Toronto and the New York Comedy Festival. She is regularly featured on the CBC and her album “Blue Lights” hit # 1 on the iTunes Comedy charts.

We’re located on Bloor Street, just one block west of Dufferin Street. Please enter through our restaurant entrance on Bloor, where you will be greeted by our host and directed to the Music Hall.
