The Chmst is a professional multidisciplinary artist that specializes in Alternative/R&B and HipHop song writing and live music production. He is an exhibiting member of The Remix Project and associated with Toronto Sketch Arts artist development outreach. The Chmst shares his audio engineering, song writing, and production skills through his freestyle performance platform, Chmstry. A platform that gives local Toronto artists and musicians a studio performance and networking opportunity to expand the collective creative connection and process. Currently The Chmst is continuing to produce and perform music with the community that these structures have built whilst proceeding to support the creation of his own album Differently. Some of the music that has been a result of this 2-year-old initiative is Coronation by Bangerz Brass, P4 by Ayrah Taerb, Indica Omega by Ayrah Taerb, The Genius of Evil by Kei-ez, and Sunday Morning by FRNKE.

The group called Sky Mattress features David Hodgson on saxophones, Jack Johnston on Bass, and Aidan McConnell on drums. Two years ago, we got together on a summer afternoon to play at our local park. We have since developed an intimate joy for sharing melodies, textures, and improvisations inspired by the traditions of Black American Music with each other and those who listen. The sounds of Sky Mattress reach for new ideas and comfort; like a sweet dream you remember the next day.
