Dena Jackson (Creator/Performer):
Dena Jackson is a writer, comedian and TEDx speaker. Her work has been featured on CBC and the Beaverton and she’s performed at clubs and festivals throughout North America including the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, CBC’s LOL, Just for Laughs Toronto, New York Comedy Festival and Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club in Las Vegas. She also had the privilege of performing multiple shows in Alaska for the U.S. Military. Her debut album, Blue Lights reached number one on the iTunes Comedy Charts and can be regularly heard on SiriusXM Radio and her sophomore album is set to be released in spring of 2024.
As a speaker, Dena uses a comedic approach in her talks to help educate audiences on the benefits of mindfulness practices to improve well-being. She holds certifications in both yoga and mindfulness instruction and hosts a wellness podcast called, Self Help Me on Spotify that shares helpful mental health practices with listeners.
Christel Bartelse (Host/Storyteller):
Christel has wowed Fringe audiences and beyond, with her one-woman shows including CHAOTICA, ONEymoon, Significant Me, All KIDding Aside, The Surprise and Encore. She has been nominated twice for a Canadian Comedy Award and has earned rave reviews. She has toured every major Canadian fringe festival, as well as several in the U.S. & has performed twice at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, & also in London, UK. She is currently developing a new solo show.
She is the producer and co-host of the hit storytelling show "But That's Another Story" running for four years now. And also co-produces and hosts the high energy cabaret with Chris Sawchyn "Chris and Christel's Collection" hosting some of Toronto's hottest talent.
Todd Graham (Comedian):
For over three decades Todd Graham has been one of Canada’s top comedic artists. His 1987 pre-internet mash-up, Apocalypse Pooh has been celebrated by Film Threat, Complex, CineAction, The Believer and The Whitney Museum of Art. The short film was featured by CBC Toronto and since going online has gained over two million views.
As a stand-up comedian Todd has performed at New York Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs Montreal as well as at multiple Galas at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Halifax Comedy Festival and Hubcap Comedy Festival. His comedy has been showcased on national television with CBC, CTV Comedy Channel and iChannel and his debut album, Bustin’ Loose! can regularly be heard on SiriusXM
