A live comedy show featuring some of Toronto's veteran comics, storytellers and improvisers all over the age of 40, sharing a variety of comedy on the theme of age. What does it mean? What's it like to be an aging performer? 
Featuring Dena Jackson, Sandra Battaglini and Ali Hassan.

About the artists

Dena Jackson is a Toronto-based comedian and TEDx speaker. Her work has been featured on CBC and the Beaverton and she’s performed at clubs and festivals throughout North America including the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, CBC’s LOL, Just for Laughs, New York Comedy Festival and Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club in Las Vegas. Her debut album, Blue Lights reached number one on the iTunes Comedy Charts and can be regularly heard on SiriusXM Radio.

Ali Hassan is an actor, author, broadcaster, and comedian who has performed for audiences across Canada and internationally. Ali is the host of the CBC Radio hit stand-up comedy show Laugh Out Loud. For the past eight years he has been the host of Canada Reads, CBC's "Battle of the Books". You can find him on television in the Peabody Award-winning show Sort Of (HBO Max) and Run The Burbs (Hulu) – two roles that both earned him Canadian Screen Award nominations. His comedic memoir ‘Is There Bacon in Heaven?’ was released in 2022 with Simon & Schuster. www.StandUpAli.com

Sandra Battaglini is an award winning stand-up comic, actor and writer. She is a two time Canadian Comedy Award winner for her solo show shows, Classy Lady and Hard Headed Woman. She tours the country and appears in NBC Seeso's flagship web series, The Amazing Gayle Pile, CBS's In the Dark and Netflix's In the Shadow of the Moon and CBC's Communist's Daughter. She was a semi-finalist in the She Devil Comedy Competition in NYC and and released her first comedy special Take it Ease in 2022. She spearheaded a grassroots movement to have stand-up comedy recognized as an art form and started the Canadian Association of Stand-up Comedians that lobbies for comedian's rights.

We’re located on Bloor Street, just one block west of Dufferin Street. Please enter through our restaurant entrance on Bloor, where you will be greeted by our host and directed to the Music Hall.
