Paesler
Paesler explores complex topics such as the nature of accumulation, life stages, and self-reflection. Place, community, and feeling have transformed into comforting yet gripping soundscapes and compelling verse, becoming her five song debut EP when things do not dry they are heavy.
Located in the Laurentian foothills, the EP was largely written at her family retreat, Paesler's Camp which provided the inspiration and place of creation for this five song EP. For much of her adult life, Paesler split her time between the camp and Ottawa, where she worked in harm reduction, trading rural privacy for the harsh reality of the street, engaging with some of the city's most vulnerable residents each day. when things do not dry they are heavy draws from both these spaces, exploring intergenerational trauma, love and growth through her family and regular patients.
Leah Holtom
Folk singer/songwriter Leah Holtom grew up in Brampton, Ontario, and now thrives in Toronto's vibrant music scene. Blending the best of folk and country, Leah shares a fresh expression of storytelling with a unique take on traditional instrumentation. Her tender yet soaring vocals, paired with acoustic guitars and pedal steel, captivate audiences on a heartfelt journey. In 2024, Leah was honored with the Colleen Peterson Songwriting Award from the Ontario Arts Council for her debut single, "Face The Day." Her rich sound and endearing voice are further showcased on her debut EP, "Patchwork.”
Lane Webber
Lane Webber is a musician/composer and actor based in Toronto. Habitually contemplating the closure he holds and (more frequently) the closure he doesn't, Lane is presently creating a repertoire of songs for his next recording project, as well as composing/recording his original score for upcoming short film "Pink Light" by Harrison Browne.
